Bowling Green based artist, Ali Thompson, has been honing her skills in acrylic knife painting, resin mica pigment pieces, as well as fluid art.  Originally a NASA engineer, Ali blended her love of engineering with her love of painting, bringing about a perfect marriage of her two passions.

Ali’s evolution into resin mica pigment pieces allowed her to introduce another element to this union and extend the range of her talent using mathematics and shapes hidden within the resin art pieces, which explore the depths of movement, composition, and science.
